JCL Sightings at Internet Librarian

Hola WIGinators,

Well, we're back from Internet Librarian 2006--one of the best (if not THE best) conference for Webbie Librarians. You can easily catch up on everything that happened at the conference via...

copious blog posting available via the technorati tag: http://technorati.com/tag/il2006

and Flickr photos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tags/il2006/

Oh, and although none of us JCL folks were presenting this year, I know of at least two times that JCL staff were mentioned in presentations by others (which is even cooler): Scott's Flickr Lackman tour was featured by Michael Stephens and Sarah & Chris's Cyber Six Pack classes for staff and patrons were mentioned by LibraryMan (Michael Poter) and Brenda Hough as great ways to encourage staff and patrons to use Web 2-point-Oh tools. It's awesome to be at conference and hear references to the nifty things our colleagues are doing!

Best,
Erica

That conference sounds really cool! I've been reading some of the il2006 tagged posts. The Second Life post was great, as was the tech competancies post.

And, w00t! cyber 6 pack and LA's virtual tour were mentioned!
