Draft of the JoCoWeb World Plan: Please comment/respond by June 20
Greetings Web Interest Group,
Please review the draft of the JoCoWeb World Plan and the associated tactics.
This plan is the result of all the Web planning (usability studies, surveys, etc.) and SWOT analysis completed by JCL staff. It also updates the library's Digital Community Information Clearinghouse plan, and provides a philosophical framework for the next 2.5 years (2006-2008)...we'll get a lot done in 2.5 years and considering that 2.5 is a lifetime in the Web world, I think it's unwise to plan beyond that.
Plan (it's a Word doc with what we've done, what we'll be doing, and why):
Tactics (it's an excel sheet with the specifics, and it's more flexible...we'll add more as we go)
Please post your comments here by Tuesday, June 20 (one week from today). After you all have reviewed these docs, the whole thing will go to Ad Council (I'll write an Executive Summary as well).

I just finished the plan. As soon as I get some off-desk time, I'll post my comments. Suffice to say there are a lot. And I'm glad Moby got a few mentions. (Four, by my count).
